This online course delivered by Carers of East Lothian’s Counselling Team will cover a range of topics including:
- Understanding the impact that caring can have on mental health and how caring can play a role in stress, anxiety and depression
- Understanding the connection between trigger situations, thoughts, emotions, physical symptoms and behavioural reactions
- Understanding why it’s important to take time for yourself – planning your time and activities to include regular time for yourself
- Learning skills to cope with unpleasant physical sensations associated with stress and anxiety, including mindfulness and relaxation
The course will run each week for 10 weeks, beginning on Monday 31st January at 10am. Please note it is entirely up to you how many weeks you wish to attend, but you are invited to join all of the sessions if you are able.
